Talented in several areas of the arts, Alison Eager is one of the most distinctive and adventurous multi-discipline emerging artists of our time. Her unique love, curiosity and enthusiasm for all things creative is clear in her earliest childhood memories. Today, her ever-evolving life pursuits express these inherent qualities in full bloom.

Her body of work spans the entirety of her 34 years, and includes everything from competitive roller skating and dance (early in life) to costume, hair and make-up design; fashion; eastern movement techniques and martial arts; and painting (as she grew up, and presently).

In her own words:
“Images shift our emotions, provoke thought, alter our perceptions and touch our psyche. It is my mission as an artist to honor the power of the image. In doing so, I hope the inner visions I share in my work emit positivity and inspiration; radiate vibrancy; emanate tranquility; and imbue the viewer with a quiet sense of celebration. Ultimately, I hope my work will touch the divine in people; spark the inner fire it takes to fuel great change.”

Alison graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in painting and dance, and a Master of Arts in Art Education. Her collegiate experience was further enriched studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where she explored the fine art and fashion worlds, and began her journey as a career artist, fashion designer and art educator.

Her works exhibit an ongoing investigation of universal symbology, a study Alison has been fascinated by for years. As she evolves, so do her tastes, themes and media choices. Partial to traditional oil paint on canvas, she also experiments with nontraditional materials including dye, yarn and honey; burlap and linen.

Alison C. Eager’s collection is comprised of nine original works. Her paintings are easily distinguished by bold and saturated colors as well crisp lines and seamless blending. She integrates textures as layers of her imagery, creating multiple meanings to her work. The content of her paintings explores feminine energy, symbols, and movement.
